Peter Gereny
Owner/Business Developer/Janitor

Founder of Söderpiren, property manager, and our very own handyman. Finds solutions like no one else—just look at our beautiful Kottehus! Always eager for development and new ideas, while also placing great importance on caring for and preserving. Does everything to save things, both out of sustainability thinking and maybe a little bit of thriftiness. Also carries the heavy responsibility of being our taste tester and leftover eater.

Contact: Preferably doesn’t answer the phone. The best chance to get in touch is during the morning coffee, but let him have a couple of sips first.

Kim Erixon
Owner/Business Developer/Finance

She’s the one who feels most comfortable behind the scenes and loves developing ideas and being creative. The band’s manager who drives the operations forward. A determined little lady who says, 'Now it’s too much' & 'Maybe we should start…' in the same sentence.

Long story short...

In 2010, Peter Gereny put the first shovel into the sand dunes at Västra Stranden for what would become Söderpiren. Initially, it was primarily a surf shop with a small café offering. Much has changed over the years; the surf shop no longer exists, but the business has evolved and today it is a gathering place, not just for people who practice water sports, but for everyone. Visitors range from dog owners walking on the beach to companies renting Söderpiren for various events.

In January 2018, Kim Erixon became a co-owner of Söderpiren to work alongside Peter in developing the business and taking Söderpiren to new heights.

In 2019, the restaurant Lillebror was built next to Söderpiren. The desire to offer food by the sea in the evenings had long been there, so the solution became a summer restaurant in the sand dunes.

In 2020, the idea of the Kottehusen was born, and by the summer of 2022, five fantastic Kottehus were ready for rental on Västra Stranden.
